National Integration and Awareness

Main Idea

National integration is the development of unity, belonging, and loyalty among citizens despite differences of religion, language, region, caste, culture, or economic status. India’s diversity becomes a national strength when citizens respect one another and act according to constitutional values. National awareness further requires knowledge of national history, rights, duties, responsibilities, heritage, security, social issues, environmental concerns, and current developments. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) supports these aims through discipline, leadership, teamwork, social service, and community activities.
